As a Business Development and Ecosystem professional at Sei, you'll be instrumental in identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth across the Sei ecosystem. You'll work with founders, protocols, and key stakeholders to expand Sei's reach and impact in the web3 space. Typical Responsibilities Opportunity Identification & Evaluation • Identify and evaluate founders, new business opportunities, and strategic partnerships that align with Sei's vision Pipeline Management • Manage, maintain, and prioritize a robust pipeline of projects, ensuring systematic tracking and follow-through Deal Negotiation & Execution • Negotiate deal terms and agreements with partners and collaborators, driving mutually beneficial outcomes Market Intelligence & Lead Generation • Maintain a constant grasp on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities, which funnels into lead generation What We Usually Look For Web3 Experience & Knowledge • Deep experience in Web3 technologies and ecosystems, with a genuine understanding of blockchain fundamentals Investment or BD Background • Prior VC experience with a web3 focus, understanding of investment thesis and deal structuring • Experience as a BD team member at a top L1/L2 blockchain, with proven track record of ecosystem growth Relationship Building • Demonstrable experience in building and leveraging relationships that translate into concrete business outcomes Guerrilla Sales & Web3 Culture • Proficiency in guerrilla sales tactics and deep understanding of web3 culture, memes, and community dynamics Communication Excellence • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences Autonomous Decision-Making • Ability to make autonomous decisions with sound judgment and clearly articulate rationale Strong Web3 Network • Strong networking skills within the web3 community across platforms (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc.) and at industry events Position Details Focus Area Ecosystem growth & strategic partnerships Location New York City Work Model On-Site Employment Type Full-Time Department Business Development Application Status Rolling basis (not currently active) Why Join Sei?
