Data Scientist

Your Role You’ll dive into our data to find insights, help the marketing team turn them into eye-catching visualizations, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces. You’ll also work with the team to train, test, and ship models that power Peec AI’s recommendations helping our customers boost their visibility in AI search. Although this is a data science focused role, we are looking for a candidate that is excited to get their hands dirty across the platform. This includes infrastructure, backend, and frontend. We don’t expect a candidate to have all these skills, but a willingness to learn is required. We don’t require specific degrees or years of experience. We value clear indicators of excellence, whether it's a high FIDE rating, scaling a side project to a thousand users, published research papers, or any other achievement that demonstrates exceptional skill and drive. Our Data Science Stack - Languages: TypeScript, Python, SQL - Libraries: Pandas, NumPy, HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX - Backend: GCP, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Postgres, AlloyDB, BigQuery - AI Models: OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama, etc. Our Tech Stack - Languages: TypeScript - Backend: GCP, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Firebase Auth, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Scheduler - Frontend: React, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS - AI Models: OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Llama, etc. You're a great fit if you - Have a track record of outstanding performance in either your professional career, academic career, or some other endeavor. - Are skilled with Python, SQL, and BigQuery. Bonus Points for - Contributions to open-source projects. - Deployed side/hobby projects that we can check out. - Presented research papers at top ML or AI conferences. - Having started a company before or worked at a very early stage startup.
