This outbound position requires deep industry knowledge about DeFi trends and the ability to forge significant partnerships across the APAC region. 🌏 APAC Based Remote role must be based in APAC region 🗣️ Bilingual Required Mandarin (Native) + English fluency You'll be responsible for identifying DeFi projects, building compelling narratives around Sei's unique advantages, and ensuring teams achieve success through TVL growth, strong user metrics, and ecosystem differentiation. This is a high-impact role for someone who lives and breathes DeFi. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Pipeline • Create and pursue top-of-funnel approaches to finding DeFi projects and founders, both present and upcoming in the APAC region Narrative Building & Vision Sharing • Build compelling narratives and share the vision for Sei DeFi with prospective founders, highlighting performance advantages and ecosystem benefits Ecosystem Success Metrics • Ensure DeFi teams find success in the Sei Ecosystem through TVL growth, user metrics, retention, and differentiating factors from other ecosystems Launch Strategy & Planning • Develop and share tailored launch plans for founders ready to start building on Sei, covering technical, community, and marketing aspects GTM & Community Building • Work with new partners to engage in go-to-market strategies and community building efforts across APAC markets Requirements DeFi Experience • Minimum of 1 year in a DeFi-focused business development, partnerships, or strategy role within the DeFi industry Investment Background • Prior VC experience, particularly in DeFi investments and evaluation Crypto & DeFi Expertise • Deep understanding of crypto market dynamics, how to work with DeFi teams, and resources required for smooth GTM and onboarding Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess opportunities and drive strategic decisions Network & Connections • Robust network within the crypto space, especially in the DeFi sector across APAC Leadership & Communication • Excellent leadership and communication abilities in both Mandarin and English Language Requirements (Critical) • Mandarin: Native speaker proficiency required • English: Professional fluency required Location Requirement (Critical) • Must be based in APAC region to effectively serve the time zone and local market Position Details Focus Area DeFi partnerships & ecosystem growth Experience Required 1+ years in DeFi BD/partnerships/strategy Location Remote (APAC-based required) Languages Mandarin (Native) + English (Fluent) Employment Type Full-Time Department Liquidity Why Join Sei? Responsibilities

Requirements
