Description

For this role, technical acumen and market development passion are extremely important. You will typically be the first point of contact for deeply technical external engagements and will be expected to answer many technical questions autonomously and independently. This is a great opportunity for somebody with a STEM background to maintain their existing skill set whilst focusing on external engagements. We are not seeking much Biz Dev experience but rather the passion to get into this world and some indications that you have taken your first steps in it.

External efforts encompass traditional business development activities, but also extend to hands-on responsibilities such as: identifying friction and opportunities within Starknet/StarkEx marketplaces; addressing deeply technical infrastructure improvement requests and being an advocate for such requests at network level; discovering opportunities to expand and deepen StarkWare revenue streams.


We are looking for someone located in Israel, who will:

  • Effectively communicate externally the value proposition of our services and technology via deep technical discussions
  • Manage your own outbound and inbound pipelines, across priority industry verticals and the infrastructure layer
  • Manage the end-to-end customer funnel, from initial outreach to contract completion 
  • Provide post-integration customer support, identifying ways to accelerate customer growth through partner connections, customer introductions and marketing opportunities
  • Act as ambassador for the StarkWare value proposition, attending and speaking at conferences, contributing to blog posts and other channels
  • Liaise with BD leadership to identify new revenue streams
  • Liaise internally with the product, marketing and engineering teams to develop and implement strategies and manage the customer pipeline


Responsibilities:

  • Weekly outreach to teams at all stages of the sales pipeline (outbounds, early stage, contract negotiations, integrations) 
  • Identifying strong teams in the ecosystem to reach out to 
  • Work with Marketing on content and campaigns 
  • Work with Product on feature prioritizations where appropriate 
  • Provide weekly updates internally on the status of teams in the pipeline 


Requirements

An ideal candidate would have: 

  • Demonstrated possession of deep technical proficiency and blockchain curiosity
  • Proven ability to run deeply technical discussions and negotiations autonomously
  • The competency and passion to take early stage calls and explain the benefits of our technology and answer the appropriate initial technical questions that would lead to an opportunity.
  • Competency with admin tasks (writing clear and concise summaries of each call, sending weekly updates, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel to conferences and events


An ideal candidate would not necessarily have: 

  • A crypto background 
  • A sales background
