Responsibilities:

As a Cosmos Engineer, you will be part of Lightshift's Core Engineering team. You will directly help co-build some of the most promising and impactful projects in the web3 industry, alongside the best founders and core team.

• Contribute directly to the code base and overall building effort of different projects invested by Lightshift.
• Analyze projects and their feasibility, focusing on the engineering component.
• Research bleeding-edge trends, protocols and advancements in the space.
• Work in tandem with Lightshift's investment team to identify and capture the best opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Fluency in the Cosmos ecosystem.
• Understanding of Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) and Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains.
• Solid understanding of Rust (Cosmwasm) and Go.
• Knowledge or experience with one of more public blockchains.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, known attack vectors, and pitfalls of blockchain protocols and applications.
• A strong desire to keep learning and push the boundaries of the blockchain space.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

Extra:

• Experience with cosmos infrastructure deployment and management
• History of meaningful contributions to open-source projects.
• Practical experience in blockchain security and research.
