Flare is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Growth and Business Development Lead to drive partnerships with companies, projects and user acquisition initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing strategic partnerships, facilitating new user acquisition, and ensuring the successful adoption of our chains, products, and toolsets within the blockchain space.


The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in business development, a creative thinker with the ability to self-structure, plan ahead strategically, negotiate and close winning deals. You should be highly tactical and action-oriented within an ever-changing and fast-moving space.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationships: Forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring a seamless partnership lifecycle.
  • Analysis: Lead in-depth analysis to understand the value chain, decision-making processes, and ecosystem-specific needs, driving the development of tailored solutions and strategies.
  • Feedback: Initiate resources, gather market feedback and refine strategies to enhance business model scalability. 
  • Networking: Tap into existing network for potential collaborations/integrations. Cultivate new partners through strategic networking events (e.g. conferences, meetups etc)
  • Community engagement: Leverage a network of Flare friendlies for initial thought leadership and discovery discussions.
  • Represent: Actively participate in industry events, public appearances, and media engagements to represent and elevate Flare's brand visibility and leadership in the blockchain space.
  • Close: Champion the company's growth by identifying, negotiating, and securing partnerships that align with our strategic goals and values, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with our marketing team to craft and execute strategies that support our partners, enhance user acquisition, and elevate our market presence.
  • Mapping: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business development roadmap, identifying potential partners and market opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
  • Organise: Keep the BD pipeline organised and formulate a process to track pipeline status in an easily digestible format for the whole team to draw upon.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, particularly in the blockchain, Web 3.0, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the Web 3.0 ecosystem.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company in various forums confidently.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape.
