Product Manager: Credit Risk & Insurance

Job Summary:

Envisso is seeking a talented and highly motivated Product Manager with experience in data-focused solutions within the credit risk and insure-tech spaces. The role involves managing the end-to-end development process of data-focused solutions, credit risk modelling, insurance process development, and automation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product management, and have also worked in a data analytics or data science role for 2 years. The role requires previous experience in credit risk or insurance industry, and the person should have been involved in a small company or startup environment.

Responsibilities:

● Product Ownership: End-to-end product development management, delivery, and improvement of credit risk and insurance solutions for payment service providers.

● Data Focused: Hands-on data analysis to translate complex datasets into product enhancements and actionable insights.

● Customer Champion: Championing our customers' needs within the company and within the broader industry.

● Credit Risk & Insurance Expert: Developing ongoing subject matter expertise in credit risk and insurance for payments.

● Mentoring: Mentoring and career development support for more junior members of the Envisso team.

Role Requirements:

● Professional Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in the technology space.

● Product Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience in product management roles or similar areas.

● Data Analyst / Scientist Experience: More than 2 years of experience in data analytics or science teams.

● Credit Risk or Insurance Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the credit risk or insure-tech industry.

● SQL: Good knowledge of SQL.

● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking abilities.

● Startup Experience: Experience working in a startup or small company environment, with the ability to understand and manage the associated challenges.

● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with data, engineering, and the broader organisation.

Nice-to-Haves:

● Python: Knowledge of Python development.

● UI / UX Experience: Understanding of UI/UX development.

● 3rd Party Data Acquisition: Experience in sourcing 3rd party data.

● Payments or Risk Experience: Experience in payments or payment risk management.

● Fully Remote Experience: Experience working in a global and fully remote environment.

Note: The nice-to-have qualifications are not mandatory but would be considered as additional strengths for the role.

Role Location: This role will be fully remote and based in South East Asia or the UK
