About the Role

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Knowledge Graphs, you'll be at the forefront of Prophecy's AI-native data platform. You'll design, build, and scale knowledge graph systems that power intelligent data preparation and analysis, integrating cutting-edge AI agents with enterprise-scale data infrastructure. This is a high-impact technical leadership role where you'll own end-to-end projects and shape the future of how enterprises understand and leverage their data.

Must-Have Skills

Knowledge Graph Expertise

• Expertise in building and managing Knowledge Graphs, including entity extraction, linkage, and ontology design

AI Systems Integration

• Experience integrating Knowledge Graphs with AI systems for retrieval, reasoning, and agent context (e.g., enriching with LLM)

Technical Leadership

• Tech lead experience: Owning end-to-end KG projects, from design to deployment, with leadership in cross-functional teams

Full-Stack Development Skills

• Versatile software developer: fluency in Python, REST APIs, microservices in public cloud; some experience with Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Java, Scala

Graph Database Mastery

• Hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and operating Neo4j or similar graph databases

Builder Mentality

• Demonstrated experience taking ideas to production with a strong bias toward action and delivery

Advanced ML/LLM Work

• ML/LLM work in code generation (e.g., Codex, text-to-SQL), semantic extraction, or knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j, Neptune)
