The fund has over $250 million in assets under management and has grown steadily since its stealth launch in February. Atlas is Hypersphere’s fourth fund since its launch in 2020. The firm’s first two funds generated over $600 million in profits, after fees, from an initial investment of less than $50 million. Job Description Hypersphere are looking for an Analyst to work directly with Founder Jack Platts and the remainder of the team. Responsibilities - Portfolio Development: Create and manage a robust system that offers portfolio companies access to a network of advisors, mentors, and other industry stakeholders to ensure a successful launch. - Resource Management: Develop and maintain a library of resources, including templates, best practices, and playbooks, to support portfolio companies in areas related to product development, marketing, and GTM (with a focus on token-generation events (TGEs)). - Partnerships: Establish strategic partnerships with service providers and foster collaboration within the portfolio to create mutually beneficial synergies across Hypersphere portfolio companies - Deal Sourcing: Develop relationships that lead to investment opportunities for the firm. - Data and Insights: Collect and analyze data on portfolio company performance to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for additional support - Fundraising Support: Assist portfolio companies in preparing for fundraising rounds by providing guidance on deck development, investor introductions, and fundraising strategies - Internal Coordination: Ensure all internal teams are aligned on portfolio company updates, including progress for quarterly audits, upcoming token unlocks, and investment harvesting - Research: Stay abreast of new teams, protocols, projects, and developments in the blockchain industry and analyze and report key project information to Hypersphere Partners - Data-driven Analysis: Perform fundamental, data-driven analysis into various cryptocurrency networks and verticals - Teamwork: Work directly with Hypersphere’s investment committee to convert research into actionable, investing insight - Accrual Mechanisms: Analyze token economics and value accrual mechanisms of proposed tokens - Investment Suggestions: Develop investment suggestions based on research and industry trends - Map Verticals: Map verticals across the digital asset landscape (e.g. DeFi, NFT) - Portfolio Integration: Work with our portfolio companies directly to help with their success and understand Hypersphere’s “protocol playbook” for how to maximize value add to the companies we invest in - Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile trade data - Assessments: Perform technical assessments of protocol and project technologies
