Chief of Staff Remote About Ritual Ritual is building a sovereign, execution layer for AI. Our first phase, Infernet, is the first product of its kind to enable developers to access models both on-chain via smart contracts and off-chain. Our next phase, the Ritual chain, will be an execution layer custom-built to support AI-native operations and enable a new class of applications at the intersection of crypto and AI. About the role As a Chief of Staff for Akilesh Potti, you will have a unique opportunity to strategize, and streamline priorities across a highly heterogeneous company, ensure cross-functional alignment, oversee high-impact strategic projects and help Akilesh lead Ritual through a rapidly evolving and complex landscape. In your role, you will be a force-multiplier enabling Akilesh to focus on Ritual’s mission while ensuring day-to-day team execution and coordination is seamless. - Serve as a trusted extension of Akilesh with internal and external stakeholders - Prepare presentations, analysis, and other material needed for leadership meetings both internal and external - Act as first-line of defense for leadership in resolving problems, driving priorities, handling operational tasks, and supporting the team - Partner cross-functionally to drive strategic initiatives and projects while ensuring alignment with company goals - Research and present on various topics as needed and maintain company level KPIs and metrics - Analyze and interpret data for Akilesh to inform strategic direction and company initiatives - Manage special projects from scoping through completion for Akilesh - Liaise with operations and internal assistants to ensure leadership priorities align with organizational goals and other team priorities About you - 1-2 years of experience in leadership, project management, business operations, or other highly strategic and operational roles within a rapidly growing company - Ability to act quickly under high pressure scenarios and context switch at a high frequency - Familiarity with AI and blockchain technologies, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical domains - Familiarity with legal, operations, and technical considerations in open-source ecosystems - Experience working with external C-suite across multiple functions (e.g. GTM, Finance, Ops, Engineering) - Familiarity or willingness to be familiar with a cross-disciplinary infrastructure stack - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to steer or serve as an effective facilitator in complex and confidential projects across engineering, growth, and additional functions - A high level of end-to-end ownership and self-direction, with excellent communication skills - Hungry, high-energy and ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones Why join us - Join a passionate group of engineers, researchers, and operators on a mission to build the next generation of AI infrastructure - Unique opportunity to work directly with someone who runs a highly heterogeneous set of teams - Highly competitive compensation package, including annual discretionary bonus & optimized tax structure compared to the vast majority of web3 startups - Top 1% of benefits across the web3 startup space - 100% of premiums covered on highest quality healthcare - Aggressive company 401k match - Fully remote and/or hybrid, up to you! - Participate in virtual and in-person events - Much much more!
